The toothpaste Zendium Sensitive is specifically designed to counteract tooth decay. Therefore, the toothpaste contains potassium nitrate in 5%. Potassium raises the retention threshold in free nerve endings in the pulp. Nitrate denatures proteins in dentine channels. The fluorine compound is sodium fluoride which prevents caries and seepage. Also contains enzymes and colostrum and has a documented effect against plaque The toothpaste contains a mild foaming agent which makes it extra suitable for people with dry and sensitive mucous membranes.
