Sustainability is key
The Nymölla mill, where Multicopy is manufactured, has been pursuing a successful sustainability strategy for years.
They are sourcing the wood for the production from the forests nearby in the southern part of Sweden. Their suppliers are close, and the majority of the wood has been locally grown.
Furthermore, wastewater is used for biogas production. Sylvamo returns about 95 % of water used to the local watershed. The CO2 emissions are captured for the on-site production of precipitated calcium carbonate. On plus, heat is supplied to the district heating network in nearby communities.
